Day & Night Snorkel + Sauna! Oban Winter Festival

Join us for the Oban Winter Festival on the weekend of 16 & 17th November for some special activities.
There are some single sessions you can book on or join us for a full weekend of swims, snorkels & saunas.
Friday 15th November
- 18:45 – 20:00 Try Snorkelling – Atlantis Leisure Centre Swimming Pool – £5pp
Join our instructors for a snorkelling lesson or refresher session in the easy conditions of the swimming pool. We’ll go through a few basics skills to help you find your fins.
Mask, snorkel & fins provided (please let us know shoe size when booking), min age 8, under 16’s with accompanying adult. Must be able to swim 25m.

Saturday 16th November
- 13:00 – 16:00 Experience Snorkeling- SAMS bay – £60pp adults / £40pp kids.
Join our marine biologist guides to discover amazing marine life below the waves in the North Argyll Snorkel Trail. Search for starfish, urchins, crabs and cat sharks around the kelp forest.
Min age 8, under 16’s with accompanying adult. Must be able to swim 100m. Full kit hire available.

- 13:00- 19:30 Day & Night Snorkel Sauna – £190pp
- SAMS Bay
The big day out – join our crew during the afternoon to search for marine life in North Argyll Snorkel Trail. After discovering lots of life around the Kelp Forest we’ll jump out of ocean and into the Wild Bathing sauna to warm up as the sun sets. We’ll then light up our torches and head into the water once again to snorkel at night to search for nocturnal marine life.
2 snorkel sessions & up to 1hr sauna use.
Min age 12, under 16’s with accompanying adult. Must be able to swim 100m. Torch included for night snorkel, Full kit hire available.
Some medical restrictions with sauna use (similar to what there are for snorkeling) along with some things to know e.g take off metal jewellery. Contact us if you need to discuss.

- 17:00 – 20:00 Night Snorkeling – Big Ganavan £100pp
As the darkness beckons we’ll explore below the waves to discover nocturnal marine life around the North Argyll Snorkel Trail. Using torches we’ll highlight all the colours of the reef and spot exciting creatures. An experience not to be missed. Min age12 with accompanying adult. Must be able to swim 100m and have recent snorkeling experience. Full kit hire & torches available.
