With 10 years of experience running adventures on the West Coast of Scotland, our passionate team have something to suit everyone. Have a browse at the options below to find the right activity for you.

Snorkelling is our thing! We are the first operator running dedicated snorkel trips, with unique adventures found nowhere else in the world. From swimming with basking sharks and seals to finding tiny creatures in the kelp forest our team of marine biologists will introduce you to everything the West Coast has to offer. For snorkelling in Scotland we use thick wetsuits, hoods, boots and gloves to keep us warm. It’s the same as snorkelling in warmer water, but with a little more neoprene.

You can snorkel on most of our tours and you can also learn to snorkel with us in our BSAC training school.

Wild Swimming

This understandably popular wellness trend is the perfect way to spend some time in nature. Whether it be a relaxing swimble in a white sand Hebridean bay, an adventurous close-up view of Fingal’s Cave or preparation for your next open-water swim challenge at the Corryvreckan Whirlpool, there is a swim to suit all.

Wild swimmers will enjoy all of our snorkel-based tours. We can also offer custom-made group packages to many amazing locations such as pristine and remote secret lagoons, hidden sea lochs and waterfalls. Our wild swims are boat-based and will take you to the best hard-to-reach places for a unique and unforgettable experience.

Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP)

This is a fantastic way for almost anyone to experience the water! Don’t be put off by the name – you can lie, sit, kneel or stand and enjoy this tranquil sport. In Oban and Argyll, we are surrounded by amazing and often remote locations. Choose from a shore-based Oban session or venture offshore by boat for a full-day Seal & Hebrides Tour to SUP with the seals. Wetsuits are available to hire for your comfort.

Our inflatable kayaks are a great way to introduce yourself to the sport. They are easily transportable and simple to board from our boats or from the shore. Kayak on our Seal & Hebrides Tour to get a great view of the wildlife without putting your head in the water. Wetsuits are available to hire for your comfort.

SCUBA Diving

Scuba diving in Scotland is an activity you can enjoy all year round. Our dedicated dive boat is well-equipped for experienced divers, clubs and underwater photographers. From wrecks to cold water reefs, our knowledgeable skipper will take you to all of the best spots. Our 6-day Scuba Dive Oban & the Hebrides  trip gives you a taste of everything including basking sharks, spur dogs and other wildlife. See our schedule for day diving here for experienced cold water divers.

To spend that extra moment in the quiet of the underwater world, freediving is a wonderful option for those who are qualified. The areas we visit are normally 5-15m in depth so our focus is more on quality dive time and interactions rather than chasing depth. The whole point of freediving is connecting with the underwater world so it’s great a way to explore it. Whilst there is no free diving allowed with the basking sharks, you’ll enjoy exploring the depths of the seal lagoon and kelp forest. Have a look at the options here.
