Evan Wins UPY Competition Category with Basking Shark Image

Great news this weekend – guide Evan has won the British Waters Wide Angle category of the prestigious photography competition, Underwater Photographer of the Year 2026! 

His image was captured during some of the incredible encounters we had last year. He got lucky when the basking sharks started aggregating around him and some of our guests during a calm weather spell! You can see his winning image below and an interview with him about how he captured the image!
